How we work · Bozeman, Montana
We build and run one thing for a business: Ralph, a private assistant, and the work around him. It grows one step at a time, as each step earns the next. Here is what each step is and what you get.
The steps
No committee, no price list, no quoting tasks one at a time. Each step is agreed in writing before it starts, and you decide at each one whether the next is earned.
The vision calls this the workflow audit
You tell us what eats the owner’s day. We spend time with how the work actually moves: the inbox, the whiteboard, the spreadsheet somebody re-types every Monday.
You get: a short written read. Where the hours go, what a machine should take over, and what the first job would be. If the honest answer is “not yet”, we say so.
The vision calls this the fixed-scope build
One job, fixed scope, agreed in writing: a recurring report, a shared question your people keep asking, a routine that never gets done. Ralph gets a machine of his own, joins your Slack, and we introduce him to your people.
You get: Ralph working in your business on that one job, with a review point where you decide whether he earned the next one.
The vision calls this ongoing care
Reliability is what you’re buying. We watch Ralph so you don’t have to: monitoring, upgrades, and fixes, and we go looking for the quiet failures before you notice them.
You get: care for as long as Ralph works for you, with one person accountable for him: Brian.
The vision calls this the private assistant that helps run the operation
When the first job has run long enough to trust, Ralph takes the next one. Over time he helps run the operation. If you want, Big Sky AI holds the whole technical side too: domains, email, website, social scheduler, and Ralph, under one monthly fee, each with a written path to hand it back to you.
You get: fewer things on the owner’s plate. In accounts you own, through access you can revoke, or under ours with the handover written down.
Plainly

“Make my website better” is a question we help you answer, not a work order. The look at your business comes first.
No HTML edits, frontend-only jobs, or redesigns for their own sake. Social posting, when we do it, is a governed workflow with a person approving every post.
Businesses in the Gallatin Valley: service businesses, contractors, professional offices. The owner feels the problem and can say yes.
Start the conversation
A few lines about your business is enough. A human reads it and replies, usually with two or three questions, and we take it from there.
